Welcome to the "Venice of the North"

    Amsterdam being  the capital of the Netherlands is mentioned as the "Venice of the North", ascribed by the huge number of canals which form a UNESCO World Heritage Site It is one of the most favoured tourist destinations in Europe , which experiences more than 4.63 million international visitors every year, which excludes the 16 million day-trippers visiting the city every year. The number of visitors has been rising steadily over the past decade.
